Salut, toi.

Oui, toi.

Tu sais que je sais que tu apprends le français.

In fact, chances are you’ve been learning for a while now.

Duolingo, online tutors, Alliance Française, YouTube videos, self-study with flashcards on Anki… you name it.

You’ve tried it all, and it got you where you are now—which is pretty impressive.

I know you can already order a coffee with two sugar cubes and ask to drink it “en terrasse” in Le Marais.

I know you are fully capable of asking for a “baguette tradition bien cuite” and know exactly how to respond to the boulangère when she relentlessly asks, “Avec ceci ???”

I know you can even have meaningful conversations with your sixty-something Airbnb host at RĂŠpublique, who complains to you about how unstable our government is.

In short, up until now you’ve been using French to complete necessary—and let’s be honest—most of the time, boring tasks outside the classroom.

Okay, you might even be talking to your French friends, co-workers, and random strangers to compliment them or ask for the best “brasserie dans le quartier.” Yet, you always feel as though something is missing from these conversations… and this thing is your ALIVENESS—your UNIQUENESS.

You still fail to make your vibrant personality shine in French and feel like you’re doomed to be a humorless, watered-down version of yourself indefinitely. You’ve accepted it by now because you think this is how it is when speaking a language that isn’t your mother tongue.

But I’m here to show you that it doesn’t have to be.

Having taught myself four foreign languages and having managed to express myself fully in each of them, I want to show you that it’s possible (and exciting) to find your French self as well.

In this course, you’ll move from simply “getting by” to truly living in French. We’ll get you to express your wishes, doubts, and opinions with nuance, to feel the rhythm of conversations (pauses, timing, humour), and to be part of them in a way that makes Frenchies think, “This person knows what they’re doing, and I want them in my inner circle.”

We’ll get you to start having a French monologue inside your own head so you can stop constantly translating from English and finally act as your desired self—enter any French conversation and feel like a fish in the sea.

It won’t be easy, but I can promise you it’s worth it if you want to break the barriers of the “It’s nice that they’re trying, sure, their level is good, but I don’t really feel like ‘refaire le monde’ at 2 a.m. on a Saturday with them” (which is what Frenchies love to do).

Once you stop feeling like an outsider and start sharing your raw emotions, being your true self with native speakers, they’ll subconsciously understand that you’re on the same wavelength—let go of their hard shell, and let you in.

If you’re ready to excavate your French self and dive into the subtleties of the French language, culture, and mindset, join the waiting list to get a special pre-sale price and exclusive bonuses!
